Loose leaf tea - mix it up

January 16, 2016

Buying loose leaf tea has many benefits including being able to mix your own tea blends! So let’s say you have some Peppermint Cleanse tea, and just happen to have Sencha Green lying around – one teaspoon of each into a loose leaf infuser and you now have a lovely green mint blend! It may seem like we are over excited about this (and that could be true) but check out the below recipes for some amazing new blends using our loose leaf teas:

Nutty Nutella – 1 tsp. Speakeasy & 1/2 tsp. Nutalicious

Bounty Bar – 1 tsp. Speakeasy & 1/2 tsp. Coco Dreamer

(A big thanks to one of our lovely customers, Sarah, for introducing this tea blend to us!)

After Eight Mint Choc – 1 tsp. Speakeasy & 1/2 tsp. Peppermint Cleanse

Green Bakewell Tart - 1 tsp. Sencha Green & 1/2 tsp. Kiwi Kisses (Kiwi Kisses tastes just like Bakewell Tart)

White Mango – 1 tsp. White Peony & 1/2 tsp. Reggae Refresh

Chocolate Orange – 1 tsp. Orange Choc Chai & 1/2 tsp. Speakeasy

Peppermint Sleepy Tea - 1tsp. Do Not Disturb & 1/2 tsp. Peppermint Cleanse

Peppermint Mocha – 1 tsp. Vanilla Mocha & 1/2 tsp. Peppermint Cleanse

Here is 'Nutty Nutella' which we made earlier : )

Enjoy making your own tea blends and don’t forget that with loose leaf tea you are able to re-steep the leaves. As long as the leaves do not dry out completely, just add more hot water for another brew - this works particularly well with green and white teas. If you share any of your own new blends online don’t forget to tag us so that we can see!
