With large emerald leaves, Sencha is a smooth, sweet and satisfying green tea. The freshly picked leaves are steamed to lock in the most nutrients and flavour, before being dried and rolled into a tight needle-like shape. Our Sencha Green delivers a soft, delicate flavour in your cup.
Tasting Notes: Leafy Green & Lychee
Origin: Our Sencha is carefully sourced from smallholder farms across the Hunan (south/west of Changsha), Jiangxi and Fujian provinces in China.
80°C + 1 teaspoon + steep 1-2 minutes
Pour 250ml of 80°C water over 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea (approx. 2.5g of tea) or 1 Sencha Green biodegradable tea bag. Steep for 1-2 minutes, or until desired strength of brew.
